Authorities received an urgent call from private security provider Project 360, requesting immediate assistance after a man was found lying on the ground.
The delivery biker informed first responders that his ex-work colleague had poisoned a pie he had consumed earlier.

He then became incoherent and was quickly transported to the hospital by paramedics.
According to the man’s sister, who works at the complex, her brother arrived from his home in Verulam, KZN, screaming that he was about to die.
Before his collapse, he told her that he had been given a pie by his ex-work colleague, who insisted he eat it while it was still warm.
A few minutes later, he became violently ill and immediately sought help at his sister’s workplace.

He became unresponsive and experienced multiple seizures before authorities and paramedics could gather further information.
