KwaZulu-Natal police have made a breakthrough in a kidnapping case by arresting four suspects. The case started when two men were reported missing from KwaDukuza on April 27, 2024.
Investigations revealed the two men were last seen on April 23, 2024, at a private company’s premises. Following several leads, police arrested the four suspects on May 23, 2024.
These suspects were the last individuals seen with the missing men. Further investigation led authorities to a secluded area in New Guilderlands, where human remains were discovered.

The discovered remains will undergo DNA testing to determine if they belong to the missing men.
Police also seized vehicles believed to have been used during the kidnapping.
The four suspects are set to appear in the KwaDukuza Magistrate’s Court on May 27, 2024.
