Mpumalanga, South Africa – Sizwe Cedric Khoza, a 39-year-old police constable stationed at Masoyi Police Station, has been sentenced to three life terms in prison by the Mpumalanga High Court.
This severe sentencing follows his conviction for the brutal murders of his wife, Nomthandazo Mnisi, his sister-in-law, Xolisile Mnisi, and his brother-in-law, Denis Mkhatshwa.
The tragic incident occurred in April of last year at Khoza’s home, where the family members had gathered to mediate domestic disputes.

Instead of finding a resolution, the mediation turned fatal when Khoza used a state-issued firearm to shoot the three family members.
The presiding judge, Takalani Vincent Ratshibvumo, delivered the judgement, condemning Khoza’s actions and underscoring the gravity of his crimes.
In addition to the life sentences, Judge Ratshibvumo declared Khoza medically unfit to possess a firearm, ensuring he would never legally carry a weapon again.
