A tragic incident occurred last night in Waterloo, KZN, when a man was found hanging in his room.
The discovery was made by his landlord, who immediately contacted local authorities.
The authorities were dispatched to Mhlatuzana Crescent at approximately 20:21 after the landlord raised the alarm.

Upon arrival, officers located the deceased man hanging by a rope fastened to a rafter in his room.
The landlord explained that he had attempted to reach the tenant but found the door locked from the inside.
After peering through the window, he made the grim discovery.
The circumstances surrounding the suicide have not yet been established, and the investigation is ongoing.
