The African National Congress (ANC) spokesperson, Zuko Godlimpi, has expressed that the party should have promptly addressed disciplinary measures against former President Jacob Zuma.
According to Godlimpi, had the ANC enforced its National Disciplinary Committee’s processes more decisively, the party would have been in a stronger position to engage with voters and could have expelled Zuma from the party before the May elections.
Godlimpi made these remarks as the ANC’s top leadership concluded its tour of KwaZulu-Natal, where they assessed the party’s performance following its significant loss of votes in recent elections.
