Bolt Driver Arrested and Killed in Controversial Incident at Police Station

The family of Thabiso Shangase, a Bolt driver from Tongaat, is seeking answers following a controversial incident that led to his arrest and subsequent death.

Shangase was reportedly hired by two men who had broken into a person’s home, and he was driving them at the time of their arrest.

The police apprehended all three individuals, including Shangase, who was taken into custody as the driver of the vehicle.

The family, upon hearing about Shangase’s arrest, went to the Tongaat police station, hoping to see him.

However, they were told they could not.

After the family left, a woman whose house had been broken into arrived at the station with a man.

They requested to see Shangase, but the man who accompanied her then assaulted Shangase, resulting in his death on the spot.

This incident has stirred significant controversy, raising concerns about police procedures, the circumstances of Shangase’s arrest, and the actions taken within the police station that led to his death.

The family and community are now seeking clarity and justice in this troubling case.
