Businessman Shot in the Face During Armed Robbery in Orient Hills, KZN

ISIPINGO, KZN – An armed robbery in Orient Hills, Isipingo KZN, on Tuesday night left a local businessman critically injured in the face.

Isipingo SAPS is investigating the incident, sending shockwaves through the community.

The robbery occurred when five armed suspects stormed a local store, brandishing weapons and demanding valuables.

According to witnesses, the gang made off with several cell phones and other items before attempting to flee the scene.

Members of the PT Alarms Tactical Unit and the Community Policing Forum (CPF) responded swiftly to the distress call, arriving at the scene in minutes. Isipingo SAPS officers were also present, coordinating efforts to secure the area and assist the injured.

During the robbery, the store owner, described as an Indian male, confronted the suspects outside his establishment.

The injured businessman was quickly rushed to a nearby hospital, where he is receiving urgent medical care. His current condition remains critical.

PT Alarms Tactical members scoured the surrounding areas in search of the suspects, but no arrests have been made yet.
