A police officer has been arrested after fleeing the scene during a dramatic shootout in Ntuzuma, where three suspects, including another 2 police officers, were shot and killed yesterday.

The arrested officer was apprehended after being admitted to a hospital, where he was treated for injuries sustained during the gunfight.
This officer, who is reportedly stationed at KwaMashu, will face charges of armed robbery and attempted murder of fellow police officers.
The arrest comes after a chaotic day in Ntuzuma, where a group of armed robbers, some dressed in police uniforms, engaged in a deadly shootout with law enforcement.
Among those killed was a police sergeant who had been involved in criminal activities.
This latest arrest highlights the ongoing issue of police involvement in criminal activities and the efforts by authorities to root out corruption within the force.
The officer will now face justice for his alleged role in the robbery and the violent confrontation that followed.
