Pretoria, South Africa — Police in the Tshwane District have arrested eleven suspects, with one fatally wounded during a confrontation.
The operation targeted criminals believed to be involved in spiking incidents along critical transport routes, including the N1, N4, and R80 highways.

The operation led officers to a hideout in Winterveldt, north of Pretoria, where they encountered ten male suspects.
