Delft, Cape Town – The faces of the killers who shot and killed a truck driver and his assistant on Thursday morning have been revealed by CCTV cameras.
Authorities are urging anyone with information to come forward immediately.
The tragic incident occurred around 8 am while the truck driver and his assistant were making bread deliveries at the corners of Symphony Way and Temprol in the suburb of Delft.

The truck, a white Isuzu branded with the Sasko logo, was ambushed by unknown gunmen. A third occupant in the truck, a female, survived the attack.
Police have not yet released the identities of the victims, but the crime scene has been described as harrowing.
Sergeant Bilqis Poole, a police spokesperson, confirmed that Delft detectives are investigating two counts of murder.

“Delft police responded to a complaint of a shooting, and upon arrival at the scene, they found the victims with gunshot wounds inside the vehicle they were driving,” Poole stated.
Both victims were declared deceased on the scene by medical personnel.
Reports suggest that Sasko bread trucks operating in Delft typically do not have any escorts during deliveries, potentially making them vulnerable targets.

There are allegations that the attack is connected to extortion gangs, a growing concern in the area.
Authorities have released footage from CCTV cameras that captured the incident, showing the faces of the killers.
