Family Murder Shocks Bluewater Bay Suburb in Gqeberha

Nelson Mandela Bay police are investigating a tragic family murder that occurred in the upscale Gqeberha suburb of Bluewater Bay on Sunday.

Police spokesperson Colonel Priscilla Naidu reported that at approximately 4:20 pm, neighbors on Brian Crescent heard several gunshots and promptly alerted authorities.

“The deceased sustained gunshot wounds,” Colonel Naidu confirmed.

The victims were identified as Mbulelo Nkqayana, 46, a municipal employee, his wife Yolisa, 37, and their daughter Kazimla.

A 9mm firearm was discovered lying next to the father, raising further questions about the incident.

The motive for the shooting remains unknown as the investigation continues.
