The National Police Commissioner, General Fannie Masemola, has announced an increased police presence in KwaZulu-Natal to maintain peace and order in the province following the recent elections.
Addressing the police force, General Masemola emphasized the importance of building positive relationships with the community while taking a firm stance against criminal activities.
“When it comes to criminals, you can’t be friendly to them. Deal with them the way criminals are dealt with but smile in the community and be happy with the community. But criminals, take them behind bars so we have a peaceful province. Go join your colleagues,” he said.
