Amoutana, KZN – A shooting took place in Amoutana, KwaZulu-Natal last night, killing a 32-year-old resident.
The incident occurred on Tuesday, on the man’s own driveway, shocking the close-knit community.
Residents discovered the man shortly before midnight, around 23:54, and quickly alerted authorities.
Upon arriving at the scene, Reaction Officers learned from locals that multiple gunshots had been heard earlier in the night.
Following the sound of gunfire, concerned residents investigated, only to find the victim lying lifeless on his driveway.
The man had sustained gunshot wounds to his head, chest, and abdomen. Unfortunately, he succumbed to his injuries before First Responders could arrive.
The motive for the shooting remains unclear at this time.
Authorities are investigating to uncover the circumstances surrounding this tragic event.
The community of Amoutana is left in mourning, as residents grapple with the sudden loss of one of their own.
