A 33-year-old man has tragically died after being locked in a cold room at a Shoprite store in Ratanda, Heidelberg.
The man was reportedly accused of stealing chocolate from the store.
Local residents stated that individuals caught stealing are typically detained in a cold room for only 30 minutes. However, it appears that this man was left in the cold room overnight.
