Johannesburg, South Africa – A man is set to face charges for killing his wife and three children.
The family is now demanding answers from the police, accusing them of inaction which led to the heartbreaking event.
Siphiwe Ndlovu, the woman’s father, explained that his daughter had obtained a protection order against her husband, who is the father of their children.
However, within a week of issuing the order, the man torched her store and then attempted to set their house on fire.
In a final act, he succeeded in burning the house down with the mother and children inside.
The mother fought valiantly, attempting to rescue her children by breaking through a window.
However, the children sustained serious burns, and one child died outside the house due to severe injuries.
The community is now rallying around the grieving family, with the accused set to be sentenced soon for his actions.
