Police in KwaZulu-Natal are currently searching for a suspect involved in a shooting incident that left one person dead and three others critically injured.
The attack occurred on Sunday afternoon at a house on Adelaide Tambo Road in Durban North.
According to reports, four women of Asian descent were in a room of their rented home when a male acquaintance, also of Asian origin, stopped by to offer them a ride to a nearby shopping center.
As they were preparing to leave with him, another man, who is of the same nationality, appeared from within the house and opened fire.
One of the women was fatally injured and pronounced dead at the scene, while the other three were transported to a hospital in critical condition.
The man who offered the ride was not injured.
Authorities are investigating the motive behind the shooting and are trying to determine the relationship between the assailant and the victims.
