BUFFELSDRAAI, KZN – Two men were executed in a hail of bullets in Buffelsdraai this Saturday.
The incident has left the local community in shock and authorities are investigating the crime.
Residents alerted the authorities around 06:14 AM, reporting multiple shots being fired. Initial reports suggested an armed robbery might be in progress.
Upon arrival, authorities discovered the body of a man lying on the road, having been shot multiple times in the head.
A second male victim was found at the base of an embankment a few meters away, also with multiple gunshot wounds to the head. Both men were declared deceased at the scene.
A .38 Special revolver and a black bag containing live 9mm ammunition were recovered next to the second victim.
Additionally, approximately 20 spent 9mm cartridges were found scattered at the scene.
The motive for these murders remains unknown, and authorities are continuing their investigation.
